what goes around comes back around

You’ll turn the other cheek
once again,
and you’ll find ignorance in the lips
you thought they purify the darkness,
like every kiss was meant to heal a soul;
slipping over the eyelids,
you’ll see marks on the skin,
blackened signs of pain,
that will no longer let any ray of sun
warm your face.
But there will come that day
when words will no longer hurt your soul,
but only break the silence
and past will be just a sequance of memories,
memories of strangers.
Those strangers will come back,
ask for forgiveness,
telling you they were so wrong, blind and deaf
and will scream all these sweet words
in front of you.
Now you will be the blind and deaf one.
Life goes on and time does not wait for us.
